AI calorie tracking from a photo of your food

The fastest way to understand what you actually ate

Lots of apps can name the food in a photo. NutriPixel is built around the whole day: what you ate, what you burned, and what it means.

Photo first

Snap instead of searching a database. NutriPixel finds each food on the plate and estimates the portion, and you can fix anything before it's logged.

How photo logging works

Works with everyday food

Not just neatly portioned bowls. NutriPixel counts food the way you eat it: by the slice, by the bowl, half a burger or half a roti included.

  • Burgers
  • Pizza
  • Burrito bowls
  • Mac and cheese
  • Roti
  • Dal
  • Dosa
  • Restaurant meals

Calories in and out

Most food scanners stop at what you ate. Connect Health Connect and NutriPixel sets your meals against your steps, workouts and active calories, so you see the real balance.

Private, with a fair free plan

No ads. Unlimited free barcode scans. Meal photos are analyzed but not kept by NutriPixel, and your meal log is stored on your phone first.

Logging a meal takes three steps

No weighing, no searching a database for "chicken breast, grilled, 4 oz".

  1. Snap

Take a photo or pick one from your gallery. Packaged food? Scan the barcode. No photo? Say or type what you ate, like two scrambled eggs, toast and a latte.

  2. Check

NutriPixel lists each food with its calories and macros. Change a portion or remove an item and the totals update.

  3. Log

Save it as breakfast, lunch, dinner or a snack. Your daily ring fills up and your streak keeps going.

Questions

Is NutriPixel free?

Yes. The free plan includes 3 AI photo scans a day (up to 8 a week), unlimited voice, typed and manual entries, and your last 30 days of history. Pro removes the scan limit, keeps your full history and backs up your meal log to the cloud.

Can I log meals by voice?

Yes. Tap the mic and say what you ate, like two rotis, dal and a bowl of curd. Your phone's own speech recognition turns it into text, and NutriPixel splits it into foods with calories and macros for each. Voice entries are free and unlimited, and NutriPixel never receives the audio.

Where can I get NutriPixel?

On Google Play, for Android phones. NutriPixel isn't available on iPhone yet.

How much does NutriPixel Pro cost?

US$9.89 a month or US$49.89 a year. In India, Pro is ₹49 a month or ₹499 a year. Google Play shows the exact price, in your currency and with any taxes, before you pay. See pricing.

Is there a free trial of Pro?

Yes. Pro comes with a 7-day free trial on Google Play. You can manage or cancel it any time in your Google Play subscriptions. The free plan needs no trial and no card.

How accurate are the photo estimates?

NutriPixel estimates each food and its portion from the photo. You can change portions or remove items before logging, and the totals update right away.

What happens to my meal photos?

Photos are sent for analysis and are not stored by NutriPixel. The photo stays on your phone.

Does NutriPixel work with Health Connect?

Yes, if you choose to connect it. NutriPixel reads your steps, active calories and workouts to show calories in vs. out. It only reads, never writes, and that data stays on your phone. Without it, NutriPixel estimates what you burn from your profile.

Can I scan packaged food?

Yes. Scan the barcode for exact label values and a simple health rating. If a product isn't found, photograph its nutrition label and NutriPixel reads it for you.

Does NutriPixel show ads?

No. There are no ads on the free plan or on Pro.
