What's in USDA's curd
USDA's value is plain yogurt made from whole milk, with nothing added.
What changes the number at home
- Curd set from toned or double-toned milk has less fat than whole-milk curd. Full-cream or buffalo-milk curd has more.
- Sweet lassi and sugared curd add the sugar on top. Raita adds whatever's mixed in.
- Hung curd and Greek-style yogurt are strained, so they're higher in protein per spoon.
How NutriPixel logs curd
Photograph your plate and NutriPixel lists curd as its own item, counted by the bowl, with fractions for a half bowl. Adjust the portion before you log it, or type it, like 1 bowl curd
.
